Alpha Alpha Alpha Honor Society (Tri-Alpha) – Gamma Chapter

Alpha Alpha Alpha (Tri-Alpha) is the national honor society dedicated to recognizing the academic achievements of first-generation college students.

Lafayette’s Gamma Chapter celebrates first-gen students who have excelled in their studies, honoring both their accomplishments and the determination it took to get there.

Eligibility Requirements

First-Generation Status: Neither parent, stepparent, nor legal guardian has completed a bachelor’s degree.
Credit Requirement: Completion of at least 30 credit hours (or the equivalent in quarter hours, depending on the institution) toward an undergraduate degree.
GPA Minimum: An overall undergraduate GPA of 3.2 or higher on a 4.0 scale.
